Kallummakai porichathu

Ingredients
 
Mussels-1kg,ginger crushed-2''pieces,green chilly crushed-7,kudampuli-2,curry leaves crushed-1sprig,turmeric powder-1/2 tsp,salt-to taste,coconut oil-3tbsp,mustard seeds-1tsp,onion big chopped-5,garlic chopped-5flakes,curry leaves -2sprig,chilly powder-1 1/2 tbsp,coriander powder-1tbsp,garam masala powder-1tsp.
HOW TO COOK
 Clean the mussels and drain well.Apply crushed1''pieceginger,4green chillies,kudampuli,crushed curry leaves,turmeric powder,and salt on the mussels and keep aside for 1/2 an hour.cook the mussels in sufficient water till the water evaporates.splutter mustard seeds in oil and chopped onions,ginger, green chillies,garlic and curry leaves.saute well.add chilly powderand coriander powder and saute for 2-3 minutes.add the mussels and little water. stir well.keep on at it till the mussels are well fried.add garam masala, mix well and remove from fire.
